Website and software development specialist Axon Birch is one of the many firms to have started up in Salford over the past decade and continued to grow. The company, based in Salford Quays, is celebrating its 10th birthday with a 30% increase in sales. Its team of 5 at its office, in The Pie Factory based at MediaCity UK, provides web hosting services.
Axon Birch develops bespoke software for businesses operating in a variety of sectors- from the creative and media industry, wholesale and distribution companies through to the engineering and local governments. Stockport brewery – Frederic Robinson, (Manchester based) television post-production company Sumners and the Salford Roman Catholic Diocese among its clients.
Director Julie Finch says: “This year is a milestone for Axon Birch and it is testament to the hard work of all the team that the company has grown by 30% over the past year.
“There have been plenty of challenges over the past decade but the last 12 months have been the busiest we’ve ever had. We offer a great deal of flexible packages and thats one of the reason we’ve continued winning clients.
“We regularly receive feedback from clients saying that our website and software has made a huge difference to their business.”
