What they wanted
Sumners wanted to provide a new service to existing clients and extend their market reach. Initially they were driven by pressure from their existing customers - independent TV companies & BBC - to have a secure online facility to view edits and make legal checks, as the time taken to bike tapes to London & elsewhere was too costly & time consuming.
What we did
We created the 'Preview Theatre' web application for Sumners so that their clients can keep track of their project’s progress wherever in the world they are. This new facility has enabled them to provide an exceptional service to their clients and has brought an increase in new clients within areas they couldn’t have reached before. We also created sound effects software, so that one machine can be used to search through all the sounds effects for the different editing suites.
